KAP Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Ketamine-Assisted Therapy?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a therapeutic approach that uses ketamine in a controlled and supervised environment to facilitate healing and growth. By creating a temporary altered state of consciousness, ketamine helps you bypass the mind’s usual barriers, enabling you to access deeper insights and process emotions in ways that traditional therapy cannot. This process enhances self-awareness, emotional release, and healing.

2. Is Ketamine-Assisted Therapy safe?
Yes, when administered by a trained and licensed professional in a clinical setting, ketamine therapy is safe. We follow established protocols to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the process. Ketamine is FDA-approved for anesthesia and has been shown in research to be safe when used responsibly under supervision.

3. How can Ketamine-Assisted Therapy help me?
Ketamine therapy has been shown to support the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and other mental health conditions, especially in cases where traditional treatments have not been effective. Many clients experience rapid and lasting relief from symptoms after just a few sessions, allowing for breakthroughs in emotional healing and mental clarity.

4. What makes your approach different from other practices?
Our approach integrates ketamine therapy with our unique PATH framework, which combines clinical expertise with transformative practices such as somatic therapy, mindfulness, and integrative psychotherapy. This holistic approach is designed to not only provide relief but also create lasting change by addressing the root causes of your challenges and supporting you in your journey toward a more expansive, connected life.

5. Do I have to use ketamine to benefit from your services?
No, while ketamine therapy is one of the modalities we offer, our practice is also grounded in traditional and integrative therapies like psychotherapy, mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic healing. We meet you where you are in your journey, offering the tools and support that best align with your needs and goals.

6. How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your personal goals and challenges. Some clients experience significant change after just a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing therapy. Together, we will create a personalized plan for your healing, ensuring you receive the support you need at every step.
