Michelle Ferrin, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a dedicated healthcare professional specializing in psychiatric and mental health nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 1992 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2004.

As a Board-Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Michelle integrates traditional psychiatric practices with complementary and alternative therapies. In 2023, she received a certificate from the Integrative Psychiatric Institute, enhancing her expertise in psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Michelle is also an accomplished author, featured in four Amazon bestselling books.

Michelle’s approach is individualized, compassionate, and collaborative. She values treating patients as whole individuals, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment and lifestyle choices. Witnessing significant improvements in a patient’s overall well-being and quality of life is incredibly fulfilling for her.

Integrative Psychiatry Services
with Michelle Ferrin, PMHNP-BC

An Integrative Psychiatry Diagnostic Evaluation combines traditional psychiatric assessments with holistic approaches to understand the patient's mental health comprehensively. This evaluation aims to identify underlying biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors affecting mental wellness. Michelle will collaborate with the client to set treatment goals based on findings. Potential integrative treatments may include psychotherapy, nutrition, medication, neutraceuticals, and/or herbal supplements.


Follow-up appointments are designed to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure the client's holistic health is addressed.


Audience:

Ages 16 and up. Clients who are interested in a holistic approach to their psychiatric care. To achieve better mental wellness and overall quality of life.

Tools used:

Standardized questionnaires and diagnostic interviews. Physical health evaluation, including genetic and/or blood tests to assess underlying health issues that may impact mental well-being. Nutrition Assessments to evaluate dietary habits and their impact on mental health.

$450 Intake (60-90min), and $225 follow-ups (30min)
