Kate Bramhall, LCPC, is a trauma informed, Rogerian-trained therapist who works from an inclusive, person-centered foundation. She encourages clients to turn inward to identify and achieve personal goals, supporting this process by following each client’s unique guidance and intuition. She is EMDR trained by the EMDR Institute and is currently working with Polaris Insight Center on her Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP) certification. She is IFS informed and incorporated feminist theories, ACT and mindfulness into her practice.
Kate’s passion lies in supporting individuals on their journey of self-exploration, growth, and healing. She specializes in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, and those seeking existential exploration. She focuses on caregiver fatigue, neurodivergent affirming care, psychedelic preparation and integration, and working with families and caregivers of neurodivergent individuals.
Kate supports each client’s exploration of their past and present to foster healing, self-understanding, and personal evolution. Using varied techniques, Kate fosters a safe, welcoming space where clients can reflect, explore, and grow into the selves they aspire to be.
How do you ccreate a safe and welcoming space for your clients?
I create a safe and welcoming space by cultivating an environment of acceptance, openness, and respect. I listen actively and compassionately, honoring each individual's unique experiences and identities. My approach is trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming, ensuring every client feels seen, supported, and empowered to explore their inner landscape at their own pace.
How do you continue growing personally and professionally?
I prioritize ongoing education, supervision, and training to stay informed about new therapies, techniques, and cultural considerations. I also engage in regular self-reflection and mindfulness practices to deepen my self-awareness. Connecting with a community of mental health professionals and participating in workshops and certifications allows me to continually refine my skills and serve my clients better.
