Randolph Whipps MD FACC is a licensed physician board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. His career spans over 40 years as a practicing cardiologist. He was involved in training medical students, residents and fellows for over 35 years. His clinical work included medical consultations, pre surgical evaluations and teaching CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). He served as Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee overseeing the safe use of all medications including psychiatric medications.

He has had a lifelong interest in psychology and psychiatry and has read extensively in these topics. He has had extensive hands-on training in the safe and appropriate use of ketamine through the Ketamine Training Center. He is a member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists and Practitioners. In 2014 he became Medical Director of LifeMed Institute, the largest Wellness practice on the East Coast. It has grown from one to now five offices in three states. Over three years ago, he joined Lauren Going L.C.S.W., co-founder of then Innerpath Wellness now Expand Yourself Wellness as a medical consultant. He could see the limitations of current psychiatric medications and the tremendous potential of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and other psychedelic medicines hopefully to come. His goal is to expand the safe use and availability of these amazing tools in treating those with psychiatric conditions. He also emphasizes wellness practices to help clients in their healing.
